Beginning May 26, stop by the Eudora Community Library and pick up your undies kit! We will provide the undies and the instructions to test your soil. The Soil Your Undies Challenge is a citizen science initiative designed to test soil health by burying a pair of 100% cotton underwear in the ground. After about 60–90 days, the underwear is unearthed; high levels of decomposition and damage indicate high microbial activity and healthy soil, while intact underwear suggests poor soil health.
One kit per household while supplies last.
