Winter will be here before you know it! Join us for this session at Ka-La Healing Garden Center and learn how to prepare your farm or garden for the upcoming winter season. The workshop will focus on sustainable practices that benefit plants and the environment including garden clean-up, soil building for spring including mulching and cover cropping, protecting perennials and overwintering crops and saving seeds for next season. You'll take home practical tips and tools that will help build healthy soil and prepare your growing space for next year

**This event is outdoors on a working farm where you will be surrounded by nature. Ground and terrain may be uneven on the farm. We recommend comfortable shoes, sunscreen and a hat.**
