Join us for the Software Freedom Day 2024, a global celebration of free and open-source software (FOSS), organized by FOSS Bangladesh in collaboration with the UITS Computer Club. This open-for-all event aims to promote digital freedom, GNU-Linux, and free software as part of a worldwide movement that started in 2004, supported by organizations like the Free Software Foundation, Canonical, Redhat, and Google.What to Expect:
Opening (10:00 AM): Doors open for students and tech enthusiasts from all over Bangladesh.
Guest Talks 11:00 AM Invited speakers will share insights on the importance of software freedom.
Presentations & Sessions 11:00 AM Dive into discussions, demonstrations, and video presentations on free software and the GNU-Linux movement.
Linux Installation & Troubleshooting Booth: Get help installing Linux and explore various open-source software.
Free GNU-Linux Distributions: ISO files for Debian, Ubuntu, Mint, and more will be available for download.
