Softness Through Steel is a 2-part immersive sound series guided by Sarah Paz Hyde, and centered around the handpan & meditative play. This series is a relaxation-activation that occurs two Saturday afternoons in a row – Jan 31st & Feb 7th – in Catonsville, MD at Rolling Brook Yoga. JANUARY 31ST • 2–3:30P

...Attendees are invited to a unique sound journey that blends the hypnotic melodies of the handpan & ngoni, with grounding elements of the voice and frame drum, and to go deeper with the gong, singing bowls and percussive elementals that mirror nature.
• Please arrive early
• Dress comfortably and bring comforts for laying down. This may include: yoga mat, bolster, eye cover, pillow, blanket, crystals/keepsakes, etc
• Bring hydration & things for journalling

The series concludes, with an introductory handpan “play lab” focused on first touch and the meditation of play. Our time together blends education, hands-on learning & active handpan play, and closes with a brief listening lounge infused with handpan songs for the soul.
