🧘♀️ Let’s start the day by reconnecting with ourselves.ICP invites you to a calming morning yoga session in Stromovka Park with our volunteer Isabela, who is originally from Colombia. Isabela has been teaching yoga for over a decade and has supported people as a yoga therapist in psychiatric care. This is a unique opportunity to slow down, breathe, and gently turn inward, all while being surrounded by nature.
📍 Where: Stromovka Park, Prague
(We will meet at a specific spot in the park. We’ll send you the exact location via email 3 days before the session.)
📅 When: Wednesday, August 21st at 8:30 AM
🧘♀️ About the session: This yoga session will be held in English. It is suitable for all levels, including complete beginners. The practice will focus on grounding, breath awareness, and listening to your body - no super difficult poses, just a gentle space for you to be present with yourself.
At the end of the session, we’ll have a short meditation and time to stay a little longer and connect with others if you’d like.
In case of rain, the session will be canceled (wet mats get slippery 🙂).
🎒 What to bring: yoga mat (or a towel if you don’t have one), water, comfortable clothes (leggings, loose pants, etc.)
👥 Who can join? The session is FREE of charge and open to everyone aged 15 and older, no matter your background. We kindly ask that children do not attend, as we won’t be able to give them the attention they deserve and it might disrupt the focus of others.
🧘♀️ About the teacher: Isabel Guzman is a Colombian physicist turned yoga teacher and a 4th-year psychology student. She has taught yoga for over 10 years and worked as a yoga therapist in a psychiatric facility. She recently moved to Prague and is excited to give back to the community by sharing her energy, presence, and knowledge.
