Soft Pastels: Misty Mountain

Capture the drama and beauty of a misty mountainscape in soft pastel as you explore color, expressive mark-making, perspective, and the basics of working with pastels. No drawing or pastel experience is necessary, and beginners are welcome. Completed paintings will be approximately 9 x 12 inches. All supplies are included, and each participant will receive an instructional handout.

Molly is a trained pastel artist based in Maumee, Ohio. She has been working with soft pastels close to a decade and graduated with her BFA from Bowling Green State University. She has been featured in several shows and exhibitions around the Midwest. She has always had a deep love of nature and enjoys painting landscapes above all else.
