Artist Tiffani Williams guides students age 16 to adult as they learn the basics of using soft pastel while painting a beautiful springtime floral scene! Beginners are welcome, as well as experienced artists who are looking to enhance their skills.Fee for the two-part course is $75, payable at registration.
Class Dates are Wednesdays April 15 & 22, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:30 pm.
Supply List – Tiffani will provide gloves, fixative, blending tools and reference photos. Attendees must provide:
~ Soft pastels (not oil pastels). I recommend this set if you do not have your own: https://www.dakotapastels.com/product/Blockx-24-Landscape?cat=334&idsku=19317 If you are bringing your own, please bring a selection of colors similar to the recommended set above, in a medium hardness.
~ Sanded paper in light tan color. I recommend UArt 400 in 9×12 size: https://www.dakotapastels.com/product/uart-pads-packs?cat=169&idsku=16271
~ Our second lesson will include framing the painting. Please bring your choice of 11×14 frame with an 8×10 mat and GLASS (no acrylic or plexiglass).
~ Optional – masks & hand wipes, if desired.
