Soft Metal Shop Orientation

The soft metal shop is the place for working gold, silver, pewter, copper, aluminum, and other "soft metals." From making a ring to repairing a copper weathervane, this is the place to ply your craft (or take one of our classes to learn a craft).

The orientation includes what is allowed in the shop, where things are, safety regulations, and more.

Spend 20 or 30 minutes to learn about this valuable MakeIt Labs resource that is open to all members after this orientation.

The meeting point is at the small conference area near the front door. If the class is on a MakeIt Interesting night, the orientation will start after the MakeIt Interesting presentations.
