No pushing to the bar, no yelling over the speaker just to order a drink, no pressure to look like you're having the time of your life for the group photo. Just a room full of good sound, low light, and people who get it.

I'm Hassan — most folks know me as Happy The Host — and I've spent the last 15 years hosting rooms all over this city. Loud ones, big ones, fancy ones. This one's none of that on purpose. Soft Frequency is the night I've wanted to throw for a while: lofi hip hop, chillhop, and R&B, played the way it's meant to be heard — in a room built for listening, not competing with it.

Vol. 1 — Rainy Window — lands at Haus Of Hero, a gorgeous loft space tucked into Interbay with vintage mirrors, warm chandeliers, and lounge seating that actually invites you to sit down and stay a while. We're talking layered couches, low light, a little bit of glam without ever tipping into "trying too hard."

Here's the flow of the night:

• 6:00 PM — Doors open, opening set starts. Pure lofi and chillhop while the room fills in. Come early, grab a seat.
• 7:00 PM — Our featured local artist sits in live over the beats. Every volume, we spotlight a different Seattle producer, vocalist, or instrumentalist — this is their room for the night.
• 8:15 PM — R&B peak set. The energy comes up just enough to get people moving without breaking the vibe.
• 9:30 PM — Wind-down set. We bring it back down slow and send you off easy.

This isn't a club night wearing a lofi playlist as a costume. It's a genuine listening room — the kind of night where it's completely normal to come by yourself, post up on a couch, and just exist in good sound for a few hours. Bring a friend if you want. Leave the small talk if you don't.
