About this Event
For Children’s Grief Awareness Day on November 21, Bird in Hand joins with What's Your Grief to present Soft Connections: A Grief Café Series, inspired by value of soft connections in community spaces like Bird in Hand, and the support they lend to people in grief. This event features Jessica Correnti and her book for children, the ABCs of Grief.
This one-of-a-kind conversation will use Jessica's book as a launchpad for discussing how to support grieving kids, and how parents can tend to their own grief while parenting. Litsa Williams from the online organization What's Your Grief, co-author of the What's Your Grief book, will join Jessica in conversation.
This is going to be a night of honesty and softness all in one-- we hope you'll join us, and bring or make a friend.
