Most reinvention happens by accident. A job ends, a role shifts, a year passes, and you realize you're not quite the person who started it. Useful, sometimes. Deliberate, rarely.
Sofiaganza is the deliberate version, a full Saturday for people who'd rather move through their next chapter on purpose than by inertia. No panic, no overhaul, no one telling you to manifest anything. Just a structured, genuinely enjoyable day of looking at where you've actually landed and mapping where you're going next.
The day is built around four sessions, co-led by Andrew Morris and Tanya Quintieri, each one a different way of asking the same question: what is the next version of you, and how do you get there?
What to expect
Four 90-minute sessions, structured around travel, food, music, and plants:
🌍 The Travelogue. Stocktaking the journey so far. What you're keeping, what you're leaving at the airport, which borders you've already crossed.
🍲 The Menu. What you're actually hungry for — the staples, the junk food, and the dish you keep meaning to cook but never do.
🎼 The Symphony. Composing what's next. The tempo you want, the noise you need to cut, the people who belong in your ensemble.
🪴 The Collection. What you're choosing to grow, what you're transplanting, and what you're finally ready to pull out.
You won't be presenting, role-playing, or doing anything embarrassing. You'll be talking to the two or three people next to you, and occasionally to yourself. Introverts will be fine. Extroverts will be fine.
There's a proper lunch in the middle — a shared table, not sad sandwiches at your desk — plus coffee breaks worth showing up for. You'll leave with worksheets, a plan you actually wrote yourself, and a one-page resource handout for anyone whose spark turned into something more specific.
Practical details
📍 Workbetter 1.0, Sofia — a coworking space of concrete, wood, brick, plants, and natural light. A room that doesn't look like the last one.
🕘 Doors 8:30, we begin at 9:00, hard stop at 17:30.
🎟 Tickets €199–€229. Capacity is 80.
Making a weekend of it?
If you're traveling in Sofia, it rewards a wander. The city layers two thousand years on top of itself — you can see Roman ruins through glass in the middle of a metro station at Serdika, then walk ten minutes to the gold-domed Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. The yellow-cobbled streets around the center, the views up to Vitosha mountain on a clear day, the cafés along Shishman Street, the Sunday antique market by the cathedral — it's a very walkable city, and June is a good month for it. Come Friday, leave Sunday, and let the workshop be the middle of the weekend rather than the whole point of the trip.
