Drummer and composer Brooke Sofferman and his band The Sofferman Perspective are active on the Boston and New York jazz scene. “Here is a promise: You will not hear a local jazz group play with more talent, more focus, more intensity than the quintet led by drummer Brooke Sofferman.”- Steve Greenlee, Boston Globe ReviewHear samples of their recordings on Apple Music or on Spotify. This will truly be a night to remember with music that will dazzle your ears and stretch your imagination.
Tickets are general admission, table seating. The room is rustic and cozy with warm, resonant acoustics. The audience is limited to approximately 100 people. Get dinner downstairs at Brookline’s Finest, or bring take out or snacks from home. Beverage service is provided with donation requested with proceeds benefitting the art, nature and events at the Andres Institute of Art. State Law does not permit us to allow outside wine and beer to be brought in. Doors open at 5:15 pm.
Shows are upstairs in the Welcome Center, the former Big Bear Lodge. Elevator is available.
