The Mastermind stars Josh O'Connor in this unconventional heist film, as JB Mooney, a down on his luck art thief who steals four priceless paintings in broad daylight. He and his band of robbers are however forced to live a life on the run, as the art proves more difficult to keep than steal.

Josh O'Connor's previous roles have showcased his vast acting talent, from the charming La Chimera to the fast paced Challengers. His performance as Mooney brings this quietly complex character to life, as an audacious career criminal trying to make sense of himself and his place in the world.
