Company Overview
Sodecia Aapico JV is a new automotive manufacturing joint venture between global Tier 1 suppliers SODECIA and AAPICO. The company is investing $120 million to establish a 400,000-square-foot facility in Orangeburg County, creating up to 392 jobs. The new operation will manufacture advanced ladder frames and serve as a key supplier to Scout Motors’ new Production Center in Blythewood. Construction is expected to be completed in 2027.

The South Carolina Department of Commerce and Sodecia Aapico JV invite you to an in-person Supplier Day event. This event provides an opportunity to meet with Sodecia procurement personnel, learn about their purchasing needs, and explore how your company can support them.
