2026 Housing Innovation: Children's Edition
About this Event
The Institute for Child Success’s Housing Innovation: Children’s Edition (HICE) Summit, presented by Wells Fargo, brings together advocates, service providers, housing professionals, researchers, nonprofit leaders, government representatives, community members, and other partners from across South Carolina for a day of learning, connection, and action around housing issues affecting young children and families.
Since last year’s summit, housing conversations in South Carolina have continued to evolve. Through statewide collaboration, community listening, and ongoing policy engagement, we have learned more about the challenges families face in securing safe, stable, and affordable housing and the solutions communities are already advancing. This year’s summit will build on that momentum by highlighting new perspectives, elevating community-informed strategies, and creating space for cross-sector dialogue about where we go next.
Whether you work in housing, early childhood, health, education, community development, philanthropy, or public policy, HICE is an opportunity to engage with others who understand that housing is foundational to child and family well-being. Together, we will explore innovative practices, hear from leaders and community voices across the state, and strengthen the partnerships needed to improve housing outcomes for South Carolina families.
