Soda & Stories: An all-ages read-aloud
About this Event
Across time and cultures, oral storytelling has been an essential part of creating and fostering community. Sharing this tradition by reading aloud and by gathering to hear others read can help us calm our nervous systems, hear stories differently, build connections with others, and feel uplifted and supported in a very difficult world.
Join ASATT Community Initiative volunteer Abby Moreno for a peaceful and connective evening. As you listen to her read, you can sip an Italian soda and use our provided supplies to color or bring your own crafts or silent fidgets.
All ages are welcome; we'll be reading books generally recommended for ages 8-13.
We'll offer regular and sugar-free strawberry-vanilla Italian soda for the evening.
A ticket is required for all family members. Reserve your spot now and come be in a peaceful community with us.
