Hosted by Bo DePeña, the Songwriter Sunday Series gained a lot of attention in 2024, with featured acts including Phil Hamilton, Aubrey Dale, Max & Brittany Flinn, and The Outlaw Firm w/ Mike Blakely. The show returns in 2025 with some great new acts, starting with Carin Mari from Buena Vista, CO!
About Carin:
Inspired by her life in the rural rocky mountains, Carin Mari has worked tirelessly to create her own unique sound and songwriting style. Her storytelling is captivating, sharing her experiences
with mountain climbing, western lifestyle, love, loss, and the ever changing stages of life. Carin performs as a solo artist but also plays lead guitar and tours with the legendary Michael Martin
Murphey. She has been honored to perform at the historic Ryman auditorium in Nashville and has opened for great artists such as, Clint Black, Sawyer Brown and Lynn Anderson. Carin started her career playing Western music and has carried that flare into her own brand of music. While she does not fall into one specific genre, some of her main musical influences are Michael Martin Murphey, Tom Russell, Ian Tyson, Suzy Bogguss and John Denver. Carin strives to keep her authenticity at the front of her performance and in her songwriting, leaving her audiences wanting more.
