Sock Puppet & Pom Pom Workshop with Benny Semp (5years +)

Let your child’s imagination run wild in this hands‑on creative 90 minute workshop led by artist Benny Semp. Children will learn how to make their own fluffy friends using pom poms, sock puppets, and other soft materials. They can craft spring‑themed characters like bunnies, lambs, and chicks, or dream up their own fantastical fuzzy creatures.

Saturday 21st March: 2pm

Art Among Us – Pop‑Up Art Gallery, located between Dave’s Hot Chicken and The North Face at Resorts World Birmingham.

Important Information:

• Suitable for children aged 5 and above.
• A parent or guardian must remain with their child throughout the workshop.
• You only need to book a place for the child; one adult must accompany them using the same ticket.
• If you can no longer attend, please email [email protected] so we can offer the space to another child.
• All materials are provided.
• Normal parking charges apply.
• The workshops will take place within the Art Gallery, whilst open to the public.

Benny Semp makes art with people of all ages and backgrounds in schools, community groups, art galleries, and public events.

He's also worked with organisations including the CBSO, MAC Birmingham, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, Birmingham Hippodrome, The Barber Institute of Fine Arts, The New Art Gallery Walsall and Wolverhampton Art Gallery.
