About this Event

The Social Work Superhero Retreat is a professional wellness and development experience designed to celebrate, restore, and empower social workers. This retreat recognizes social workers as everyday superheroes—advocating, supporting, and serving others while often placing their own needs last.

This retreat combines professional learning, self-care, and peer connection in a supportive and engaging environment. Participants will explore topics related to burnout prevention, emotional resilience, professional identity, and sustainable practice while participating in interactive activities that promote reflection, stress reduction, and renewed purpose.

Through workshops, group discussions, and restorative exercises, attendees will:

• Strengthen their professional skills

• Reconnect with their purpose

• Build supportive peer networks

• Develop practical self-care strategies

• Leave feeling recharged and inspired

The Social Work Superhero Retreat honors the vital role social workers play in communities while providing space to pause, reflect, and invest in their own well-being. Participants will leave with tools they can immediately apply to protect their “superpowers” and sustain their passion for the work.
