Do you have a good eye for detail? We’d love your help!
What:
Join us at a social session to sort our lids collection for Plasticus Tasmania.
Magnifying glasses, sorting tunes, tea and coffee for the session will be provided. Come for 20 minutes or come for the whole hour.
In the process learn more about plastic types, hard to recycle items in Clarence and other community services the Centre offers. And of course meet your fellow sorters!
Alternatively you are welcome to just just switch off and sort away in your own corner to a soundtrack of chilled tunes.
Why?
The Centre receives a large number of lids that are either unmarked, have too much residue, or the incorrect type and while we work to increase education around lid types can be recycled locally we want to support Plasticus Tasmania by only sending on those that we know can be reused.
