About this Event
This small, intimate group (4-6 children) is designed to support children with emotional and social challenges. It provides a personalized approach to help participants gain essential skills for navigating everyday interactions and relationships.
What children will learn:
Through engaging activities like play, art, and group interaction, children will develop:
- Emotional Regulation: Recognizing and managing their emotions effectively.
- Empathy: Understanding and connecting with others' feelings.
- Integration into a Group: Building confidence and cooperation in a social setting.
- Self-Expression: Communicating their thoughts and emotions in healthy ways.
- Conflict Resolution: Navigating disagreements and finding positive solutions.
The group is led by two licensed clinical social workers with extensive experience in child development and mental health, skilled at working with children from diverse backgrounds.
Details:
- Duration: 7 weeks
- When: Wednesdays at 2:30 PM, starting February 5, 2025

What’s included:
- Intake meetings with parents before the group begins.
- Weekly 1-hour group sessions for seven weeks.
- A summary meeting will be held at the end to discuss the child's progress and next steps.
