Mitchell Park Place Art Show

Please note the event as been postponed due to rain. We have set a new tentative date of March 24, 2025. If it rains again, we will move indoors to the Palo Alto Room at the Mitchell Park Community Center.

Mitchell Park Place is a 50-apartment affordable development currently under construction that was designed for people of all abilities. Half of the apartments will be set aside for residents from the intellectual and developmental disabilities community(I/DD). There will also be a ground floor tenant suite for AbilityPath, with a gallery, technology classroom, offices, and art space.

At this event, we will showcase art from local artists in the I/DD community. We will ask you to help identify places in the building to hang the various pieces of artwork.

• Help select art for the building’s grand opening
• Get to know the project neighbors and potential future residents
• See the latest building renderings and graphics
• Meet the architects, community engagement team, and contractor

Light food and refreshments will be available from Ada's Cafe. Parking available accross the street at the Latter Day Saints Church. Guests can be dropped off at the Terrace before parking at the church.
