Social Sailing Give it a go!New and experienced Sailors welcome! You will get to spend some time on the water, chatting to committee, and going through some sailing basics.
All you need to bring is warm clothes, a towel, a change of clothes and shoes, and a packed lunch.
Please meet promptly at 8:45 outside the union, where you will be able to meet up with some of our committee members who will walk with you to Burley Park train station. If you are not at the union by 8:50, please make your own way to the station. You will then be picked up from Knaresborough train station and taken to Ripon Sailing Club.
Once you have got your ticket on engage, please purchase a return ticket for the 9:34-10:14 train from Burley Park to Knaresborough, and the 16:08-16:45 train back to Burley Park - this should be around £6 with a railcard.
