Program Overview
Social Media Content Production for Small Businesses
This hands-on workshop teaches entrepreneurs, small business owners, and nonprofit leaders how to create weeks or even months of social media content in just a few hours. Participants will learn practical strategies for planning, creating, scheduling, and recycling content using tools such as Canva, ChatGPT, Meta Business Suite, and social media scheduling platforms.
Topics include content batching, evergreen content creation, content repurposing, posting frequency and timing, event promotion timelines, effective calls-to-action, and balancing promotional posts with valuable, audience-focused content. By the end of the class, participants will have a repeatable system for managing their social media more efficiently while maintaining a consistent online presence.

Presented by Daving Brown, Marketing Consultant, Graphic Designer, Entrepreneur, and former U.S. Navy Intelligence Analyst
INSTRUCTOR BIOGRAPHY Davin Brown is a marketing consultant, graphic designer, entrepreneur, and former U.S. Navy Intelligence Analyst with more than 12 years of military service. His background in intelligence and operations provided extensive experience in research, data analysis, strategic planning, and communication—skills he now applies to marketing and business development. As the owner of Untethered Media and President of Create Appalachia, Davin helps businesses and nonprofit organizations build effective marketing systems through branding, content creation, social media strategy, and automation. He is passionate about teaching practical, accessible marketing techniques that entrepreneurs and small business owners can implement immediately to grow their organizations.
DONATIONS ARE REQUESTED BECAUSE we're a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and we reinvest all money collected from fees and donations back into serving creatives in our region. The suggested donation for this class is $15-$25. We'd appreciate a donation of what you feel you can afford.
