Join the book club! Each month, the Social Justice Begins with ME book club examines a different social justice topic. All participants will enjoy a snack and themed craft activity.
Children ages 4–8 listen to a book read by a volunteer and discuss the month’s social justice topics in small groups. Children ages 9–11 will read a book in advance and discuss the book as a group.
September 19: Racial Justice – Stand Up For What Is Right
October 10: Human Rights – Healthcare for All
November 14: Immigrant Rights – The Fabric of Society
December 12: Gender Equity – We Are Just as Intended

¡Únase al club del libro! La justicia social empieza CONMIGO un tema de justicia social diferente. Todos los participantes disfrutarán de un refrigerio y una actividad de manualidades temática.
Los niños de 4 a 8 años escuchan un libro leído por un voluntario y discuten los temas de justicia social del mes en grupos pequeños. Los niños de 9 a 11 años leerán un libro con anticipación y lo discutirán en grupo.
19 de septiembre: Justicia racial – Defiende lo que es correcto
10 de octubre: Derechos humanos – Atención médica para todos
14 de noviembre: Derechos de los inmigrantes – El tejido de la sociedad
12 de diciembre: Equidad de género – Somos exactamente como debemos ser
