About this Event

THEME: Improving Well-Being for Teens and Young Adults

Entrepreneurs are the modern-day heroes who solve big problems and make the world a better place - we need more young people who have the mindset, skillset, toolset and creative confidence to bring their BIG IDEAS to life!

The Halloran Lab for Entrepreneurship at Colby College invites you participate in our Colby Creates 1-day entrepreneurship bootcamp. The workshop is designed to inspire young people to become change makers. We introduce students to the entrepreneurial mindset and provide hands-on training in high-impact entrepreneurship.

Anyone can join! - all you need is a positive attitude and willingness to put all your energy into building a new venture from scratch. We form new startup teams based on your entrepreneurial skills and guide you through an intense process where you learn what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur/innovator/social change maker.

Participants develop their creative capacity, entrepreneurial confidence, and acquire the skills to build scalable ventures that solve real problems.

Learn more about the Startup Experience and Colby Creates!

NOTE: Please plan to join for the entirety of the workshop, 9am to 6pm, Saturday, March 1st. Teams will be formed early on in the day and we can't accomodate partial attendees.
