Our Autumn tea dance is on Thursday 24th September,
Tickets are £5 per older participants and carers come for free.
This event is subsidised thanks to a generous grant from The Goodwill Fund for Hastings and St Leonards at Sussex Community Foundation.
You can either pay by booking on Eventbrite, by cash on the day, or we can invoice you if you book by email
Join us to dance together and enjoy tea and cakes in the Arthur Easton Centre at St Michael's Hospice.
This event will be inclusive and accessible to all adults, along with their friends and carers. It is particularly for participants who are elderly, and those with dementia.
We aim to foster social connection and expression of music through partner dancing in all its different forms, including in hold, or holding hands or dancing sharing scarves etc.
We will play a mix of music, including ballroom, jive/rock n roll, jazz, lindy hop, samba and disco.
Experienced dance facilitators will lead some dance activities for everyone to join in with, and facilitate freestyle dancing. They will be helped by our volunteer dance buddies. We will have scarves of different sizes to aid connection and creativity.
Please book your space via eventbrite (link to follow shortly) or alternatively you can email us at: [email protected]. When booking by email, please just book for one person and let us know in the comments if you will be bringing others, (including carers).
If you would like more information please email [email protected] or call Philippa on 07790 698053.
