This is the 8th Annual KBC Bike & Brew Tour to benefit the Kennett Food Cupboard! Let's raise some serious cash and bring lots of non-perishables to give to those in greater need. Expect Nothing; Appreciate Everything!
Beginning Saturday June 8tht at 10am we're gonna saddle up and depart from KBC on a *50-mile tour of some of Southern Chester County's most beautiful country roadways. We're not just gonna ride though, we have 4 scheduled stops along the way to keep our hydration and energy riding high!
The route is being finalized and will be awesome!
COVER the KBC BAR Challenge
Along with your registration we're asking each rider to bring non-perishable donations for the "Cover the KBC Bar" challenge. We're hoping to get enough goods this day so that the entire copper top bar is covered with all our generosity!
This is a FUNdraising fondo. This is not a race. We'll have a great time, some good brews and bites along the way, and a GIANT celebration at the end! Your registration gets you the super cool new pint glass made especially for this event, some special offerings from a couple of our stops along the way, and a free beer and some nosh at KBC at the finish. 100%, every cent of your registration goes to the Kennett Food Cupboard thanks to the generosity of each of our stops, KBC and Progressive Fitness Coaching.
If this sounds like a cool Saturday to you, I suggest registering now, cause we're only taking 100 riders on this tour!
*DISCLAIMER
A 50-ish mile bike ride should not be taken lightly. This mileage also includes over 3500 feet of vertical climb. Although every able body is encouraged to partake, if you are not conditioned to ride up to 50-miles non-stop, this event is probably not for you. Please consider your personal fitness and ability to complete this event prior to registering. There are some pretty nice climbs in this ride (~3500ft), nice meaning not easy and more towards the hard end of the spectrum. I guess with today's technology you can Uber or Lyft your ass out of anywhere, but please, for the sake of everyone that comes to complete this entire event properly geared and fit, don't slow us the fuck down!
