About this Event
Join us on a morning walk in Point Pinole Shoreline Park to enjoy lovely views, eucalyptus smells, and interesting history. This beautiful point juts out into the Bay and has trails along the bay, marshes, and through the eucalyptus groves.
Meet up near the restrooms by the trailhead. Look in the event album for photos of where to go. As always, the hostess will have a 5-minute grace time before starting the walk.

We will walk a counter-clockwise loop starting west along the Bay View trail to the Pinole Point trail, then along the Owl Alley trail, to the Marsh trail, and ending on the Cook's Point trail. This is just under 5 miles loop with around 160 feet in elevation gain and an estimated time 1.5 - 2 hours. Nice and easy, and with scheduled stops to admire the view as well as journal writing 📝 under the trees. Blank journals and pens will be provided for anyone interested.
🐕: Well-behaved dogs on leash are allowed.
Suggestion to bring your journal, a favorite snack, and a water bottle. Sun hats, sunscreen, and sunglasses are optional but recommended. Wear layers as it can be breezy by the water.
