Join the Palm Beach County Beekeepers Association for our Cold Process Soap Making Workshop with the Alonso Family of Alonso Apiaries!
Whether you're a beekeeper looking to put your beeswax to good use or simply interested in making beautiful, natural soap from scratch, this hands-on workshop is a great opportunity to learn the complete cold process method from experienced instructors.
You'll learn:
• Safe handling of lye and ingredients
• Oil selection and recipe formulation
• Mixing, molding, and curing techniques
• How beeswax and other hive products can be incorporated into handmade soap
• Tips and techniques for making your own soap at home
Each participant will receive:
• A sample of the cold process soap (after curing)
• A bonus bar of pre-made, cured hot process soap
• The knowledge and confidence to begin making your own soap

Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
