This is a "fun"draiser to support literacy programming in the North Okanagan-Shuswap. Teams of 8 work together to decide how to spell tricky words, and the team with the most words spelled correctly after 3 rounds wins!This year is the 10th Spelling Bee that LASS has hosted! To celebrate, we are adding an incentive for teams. If teams choose, they can do their own fundraising in our "Bee-fore the Bee" challenge, and the team who raises the most will get a juicy prize: a free word of their choice at the event!
This is an early morning event, with the goal of wrapping up in time for people to get to work by 9:00. We'll have plenty of coffee, and serve you a delicious breakfast, provided by Sweet Magnolia, and we'll have a great time spelling together before you head off for your day!
