About this Event
Just like students share “What I Did This Summer” when school begins, we’ll start our LARC series by reflecting on our own summer experiences. Did a book from your summer reading list reshape your thinking about learning? Did travel or study abroad spark new insights about teaching or highlight what our students need most? Did time at home open space for reflection on your goals for the year ahead?
This opening session is also a chance to grab lunch, meet new faculty, and reconnect with friends and colleagues. Together, we’ll consider how our summer insights—and the charge we received at University Conference—can inform and inspire our teaching of languages this year. Come ready to share, or simply to listen and be inspired, as we begin a new season of collaboration, connection, and growth.
