Apple Seed Live with Motoko
About this Event
Join us for an afternoon of stories with renowned storyteller Motoko. Motoko’s repertoire includes Asian folktales, Rakugo and Zen tales, ghost stories, mime vignettes, as well as oral memoirs from her childhood in Osaka and her life as an immigrant in the U.S. Motoko's background and rich storytelling style make for an unforgettable audience experience.
Admission is FREE, but seating is extremely limited. Audience members must be at least 10 years old to attend and must be accompanied by an adult. Both audio and video recordings will be made of the concert to share on our podcast and YouTube channel, and we’d love to have you be a part of the audience. Please do not wear any logos on your clothing.
The event will be held at the BYU Broadcasting Building on BYU Campus, located just east of the Marriott Center: https://maps.app.goo.gl/AeY76hfSR5h7ZCGH9 Please arrive by 11:00 am. Park in the lot in front of the Broadcasting Building and come through the front entrance where our staff will direct you to the studio space. We will begin seating shortly after 11:00 am and the performance will begin at 11:30.
