This universe is far too beautiful and life is simply too short to not do what makes you happy. Unconditional love is the most powerful force in the world and Bass Music is my way of expressing it.”
Ehren River Wright, better known as SoDown, is tattooing his own signature on the world of dance music, illuminating a vibrant destiny for the saxophone playing producer. His live sets are saturated with vigor and animation, breathing life into a myriad of electronic sub-genres. Combining a palpable groove with thunderous, bass-centric aromas, SoDown creates an unparalleled atmosphere. His versatility is limitless, showcased via his GetDown Key- his personal genre atlas which falls into three separate categories, SoHeavy, SoGroovy, and SoChill. Between his unbound inspiration, and acute attention to the technicalities of production, SoDown curates an immersive, sensory experience both in the studio and on stage. His charismatic persona has prompted a dedicated fan following. SoDown has commanded stages at Red Rocks, Coachella, Electric Forest, Global Dance, Sonic Bloom, and more. 24-year-old, Florida-based Nicholas Olivieri, the mad scientist behind WonkyWilla’s definitive, bass-driven sound, has been building his savory style of club bangers and dizzying sound experiments for anyone with a sweet tooth for wubs, dubs and everything wonky. His intricate soundscapes have been showcased by bass music’s biggest stars including Barclay Crenshaw, Cannabliss, Tvboo, Ahee, Zingara, A Hundred Drums, Maddy O’Neal, and many more.
With tracks like “Orgasmic” surpassing 3 million streams and “Wook Dancer” approaching 500k streams, plus explosive dubstep remixes of iconic tracks like Fergee’s “London Bridge” surpassing 250k streams, WonkyWilla has garnered a dedicated fanbase over the last two years. GREEN MATTER-
Anita Rojo donned the Green Matter alias in 2019, after several years of cultivating a love of bass music. This fiery passion was first sparked in 2012, when her sister took her to a Skrillex performance. She then dove headfirst into DAWs and dubstep production, finding her creative calling with the Green Matter project.
The Latina artist shines unforgettably bright among the Denver, CO bass music scene. Green Matter stands as a bright neon bastion about the rest, attracting bass music fans of all genres. Her sound cross-pollinates the nostalgia of earlier dubstep and the constant innovation of modern bass production. Such talent impressed Circus Records, prompting them to release her remix of Conrank’s “Simulation Breach.”
Indeed, at just 21 years old, Green Matter found her place within the densely saturated Denver scene and developed a sound to flatten the Rockies. Although she mingles with a fanbase of “Earthlings,” her live performances are interstellar. With the return of shows, she shattered speakers and expectations with her performance at Mission Ballroom alongside Bear Grillz. After winning the 2022 Excision Bass Music Initiative, Green Matter plans to abduct more Earthlings and rattle the Gorge with her Bass Canyon set.
