Snuggles & Savor: A Winter Night on the Farm

Do you have the best chili recipe in town? The one your friends can’t stop raving about. The one you swear could win awards?

Well, it’s time to put your money where your mouth is dash because we’re having a chili cook off!

We’re talking beans or no beans, spicy or sweet, traditional or with a twist. Whatever your style is bring it on! let’s find out who’s Chile Rain Supreme and claim the title of Chile Champion!

Eligibility:

Participants must register by January 15. Specify if you are an individual or a team.

Participants should list any major allergens (Nuts, dairy, gluten etc. in their chilly)

Our chili must be made from scratch (no premade mixes or canned chili allowed).

Cooking rules:

Participants should make at least 1,5 gal of chili at home and bring in a crockpot or a warming device.

Each participant should bring serving utensils. Additional toppings will be provided, such as cheese sour cream etc.

Judging process:

Each participant will receive a numbered bag for their chili entry. Attendees Will vote by placing their token in the bag of their favorite chili. Th The chili with the most votes wins

But that’s not all! You’ll also get the chance to create painted jar lanterns during the evening, which will guide us on a special lantern walk. This walk symbolizes the light we carry, shining through the darkness and leading us towards brighter days. The walk will end at the Wishing Well, where you’ll have the opportunity to make a heartfelt wish—because, sometimes, a little magic is just what we need!

We’ll also be joined by our adorable farm friends, who are sure to bring smiles and joy. Imagine the joy of spending time with these sweet animals, feeling the love and warmth they bring to the gathering.

Bring your folding chair, sip hot cocoa by the fire, share stories, and bond with others who understand the importance of connection. The evening will begin with our Lantern Decorating activity at 5 PM, where you’ll have the opportunity to create your own personalized lantern. Afterward, join us at 6 PM for a cozy chili dinner and bonfire, where we’ll gather around the fire to enjoy a hearty bowl of chili, indulge in sweet s’mores, and celebrate the warmth of friendship. Please be sure to arrive on time to enjoy both activities to the fullest.
