Audition Announcement: Kat’s Meow Productions is holding public auditions to fill various roles in Starkid’s The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals. Performers of all genders and ethnicities are encouraged to audition. Must be 18 years or older to audition.
Candidates must be available for all tech and performance dates, to be held at The Ghostlight Lounge located inside Theatre Winter Haven. Performances will be June 20th-22nd and 27th-29th with Friday and Saturday performances at 7:30 and Sunday matinees at 2:30. Tech and dress will be June 17th, 18th, and 19th from 6-10pm.
We are looking for performers between 18-40 with strong comedic timing, ability to harmonize and move well onstage. All performers will be playing a variety of roles within the show.
This is a paid position with a ticket profit share distribution between all the actors.
Audition location: The Ghostlight Lounge inside Theatre Winter Haven. 210 Cypress Gardens Blvd, Winter Haven FL 33880
Audition date and time: February 10th 6-9pm
Please prepare 16-32 bars of an upbeat, contemporary musical theatre number. Bring sheet music. A piano accompanist will be provided.
Callbacks by invitation only: February 12th 6-9pm
Please come dressed to move and wear comfortable shoes. There will be a dance call from 6-7pm.
