Snowy Winter Landscapes in oils or acrylics with David ‘DJ’ Johnson

Artist David ‘DJ’ Johnson is well known for his extreme en plein air paintings – he is an adventurer who likes to climb mountains and paint extraordinary landscapes.
Available for both Oils and Acrylics, this workshop involves exploring the light and colours that can be found in a snowy winter landscape. You will be painting snow covered hills and fields, with trees and branches laden with snow and illuminated by winter sunlight. DJ will be teaching a variety of techniques using brushes, palette knives, fingers, canvas wedges and possibly even sponges to help achieve a range of marks and textures that can be found in a Snowy Winter landscape.
DJ will guide you step by step, working from an image he has selected – return home with a finished (or almost finished) painting.
