Come to downtown Kent for the third annual Snow Day! Head to the Hometown Bank Plaza for live music, outdoor fire pits and free s’mores, while supplies last. Hometown Bank Plaza:
~12:30-1:30pm Ray Flanagan & Josee McGee – singer songwriters
~2-3:30pm Punching Oswald – classic & alternative rock
~4-5pm The Yeggs – a rockin’ surf trio out of Pittsburgh, PA
~5:30-6pm Fire dancing by Corners of Creation
Dan Smith Community Park:
~1:00pm Ice Carving Exhibition by Elegant Creations
~12-6pm KSU Olympic Village & Music by Black Squirrel Ent.
Compete as an assigned country throughout the KSU Olympic Village with a chance to win cake pops from Daisy Pops! Participants will be given a ‘passport’ to keep track of their progress. Members of the hypothetic assigned country with the most completed activity cards/passports at the end of the day will win a $10 Kent Card, courtesy of the Center for Student Involvement and MSK.
Lots of fun will be spread around several downtown locations, with several businesses and organizations offering crafts and activities for all ages, plus event-themed menu items.
