The TSA Passenger Screening Canine Volunteer Program offers a unique opportunity for members of the public to help train TSA
explosives detection dogs at airports.
Act as a passenger decoy—carrying concealed (and safe!) scent aids during reality-based drills at checkpoints, baggage claims, and boarding gates.

What do volunteers do?
You act as a "decoy" during training exercises. This typically involves:
Walking through airport terminals as if you were a normal traveler.
Carrying a concealed training aid (provided by TSA staff) that contains a safe training scent used only for canine training.
Following specific routes and instructions while a TSA canine team searches for the scent.
Helping handlers evaluate and maintain the dogs' detection skills.
