We get it - starting uni can feel overwhelming, especially when it comes to finding your crowd. If you’re more into pounding the pavements than hitting the pub when it comes to meeting new people and making friends, this might just be the event for you….

This October, Snapchat is teaming up with running influencer Savannah Sachdev to launch Snap Run Stars - an inaugural 5K Run Club from Snapchat, designed to foster friendship and help you settle into your new city.

This isn’t a high-pressure race, it’s a relaxed, all-abilities run club for students to explore Mayfield Park and its surroundings. Expect to meet new mates, enjoy post-run coffee chats, and connect with fellow runners.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a Snapchat event without refreshments, freebies, and plenty of moments worth sharing. Come dressed to run, and don’t forget to post as you go!
ON THE DAY
From 10:30 AM Arrive, register ready to run and grab your t-shirt
11:00 AM Event begins. Introduction to event, by running influencer Savannah Sachdev
11:05 AM Run club to begin, led by Savannah Sachdev. Total 5K length - for approx 45 minutes
11:50 AM Post-run networking, and refreshments by Snapchat
12:00 PM Event finishes
