SNAP & Cash Assistance Info Session

This informative session, hosted by the O'Dell Women's Center is designed for social workers, case managers, and other professionals who work directly with low-income women. Representatives from the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) will provide an overview of recent changes to SNAP benefits and cash assistance resulting from federal policy changes, along with guidance on how these changes may affect the individuals and families you serve.

The presenation will include information about the following:

• SNAP overview
• SNAP work rules
• TAFDC (cash assistance)
• SUN Bucks (formerly Summer EBT)

Participants may attend either in person or virtually. Space for in-person attendance is limited, and lunch will be provided from 12:00-1:00PM for those attending in person.
