Looking for a Saturday morning activity that’s both educational and delicious? Join us for our new event series, Snackable Stories, at the Public Market! We’re kicking off the Kids Summer Reading & Cooking series with a fan favorite.What to expect? Kids will have the opportunity to work with James from our kitchen to prepare their own meal. Then while enjoying their culinary creation, they will hear a story that perfectly matches the food.
Each month will have a different book and food theme.
June 6th - Tiffany Barnes - Wheeling's very own Teacher of the Year for the state of West Virginia.
July 11th - Riley Carpenter - Director of Heritage Programming at Wheeling Heritage
August 1st - Rene Storm - Actor, Director, Educator and creator of World Beyond the Storm
