The smuttier older sister of the book fair you grew up with.
The viral Smuttastic Book Fair is back in Idaho for a special two-day event at Mother Earth Brewing in Nampa.
Created for romance readers and book lovers alike, Smuttastic is a curated book fair experience filled with romance books, bookish shopping, fun experiences, and community. Whether you love sweet closed-door romance, spicy romantasy, or full-on smut, there is something here for every type of romance reader.
Spend the day discovering new reads, shopping small, meeting authors, grabbing a drink, and connecting with fellow book lovers.
What to Expect
• 40+ romance authors, bookish vendors, artists, tattoos, small businesses, and more
• Romance books ranging from closed-door and sweet romance to spicy and smutty reads
• Bookish merch, gifts, apparel, accessories, reader essentials, and handmade goods
• A welcoming space to meet fellow readers and discover your next favorite obsession
• Drinks, food, shopping, and a fun community-centered atmosphere
A Quick Note About Vendors & Authors
This is a 2-day event, and while many vendors and authors will be there for both days, some will only participate for one day. Vendors and featured authors will be announced at a later date, so stay tuned for updates.
Age Guidelines
This event is open to all ages, but due to the nature of some books, products, and themes, 18+ is encouraged.
Please note: while some books and products are spicy, not all vendors are “smutty.” We feature romance authors and vendors ranging from sweet/closed-door romance to spicy romance and smut, along with bookish gifts, merch, tattoos, and experiences.
If bringing children, we kindly ask that parents or guardians supervise them at all times, as the event takes place in an active brewery environment.
Timed Entry
To create a more enjoyable shopping experience, this event will use free timed entry slots to help spread out attendance and reduce crowding.
Please select a preferred time slot when registering and plan to arrive during that window when possible. You are welcome to stay and enjoy the event after arriving.
Food & Drinks
Mother Earth Brewing’s tasting room will be open during the event, and guests 21+ are welcome to purchase drinks and sip while they shop as they explore the book fair. Non-alcoholic options will also be available.
We will also have a food truck onsite with food available for purchase, so come hungry and make a day of it.
Parking
Parking at the venue is limited, so carpooling or Ubering is highly encouraged. Please allow extra time for parking and thank you in advance for your patience.
VIP Option
A limited number of VIP tickets will be available.
VIP guests will receive a custom Smuttastic tote filled with curated bookish goodies, available for pickup the day of the event at The Vibrant Book Club table.
VIP quantities are limited and available while supplies last.
