Program
- Excerpt from I-SCRIT-AH-SCREE-TAH-SKRATT . In this brand-new abstract work, you’ll explore the depths of thought and communication through silence, music, and motion. Choreography: My’Kal Stromile | Music: Wilhelm Friedemann Bach.
- Excerpt from Wild Sweet Love. A heart-on-its-sleeve journey of athleticism, chaos, and the fearlessness of searching for true love. Choreography: Trey McIntyre | Music: Roberta Flack.
- Singer and the Song. Just off its East Coast debut at the Fire Island Dance Festival, this ballet and its all-male cast bring this poignant story of inclusion, acceptance, and community home to San Francisco. Choreography: Maggie Carey | Music: Labi Siffre.
- It's Not a Cry. An emotionally charged duet set to Jeff Buckley's iconic rendition of "Hallelujah," tracing the raw beauty and ache of love that's hard to grasp. Choreography: Amy Seiwert | Music: Jeff Buckley after Leonard Cohen.
- French Kiss. A peek inside a summer spent in Paris, the San Francisco Chronicle called French Kiss stylish and droll: “[the dancers] clustered like a flower garden rippling in a breeze and held hands like paper dolls stretched out across the stage.’ Choreography: Amy Seiwert | Music: Pink Martini.
