Join Sacramento Motorcycle Riders (SMR) as we take on an epic mountain loop through the Sierra Nevada, riding Highway 49, Downieville, Graeagle, Quincy, Chester, and the beautiful shores of Lake Almanor before making our way back through the same incredible roads.
Expect hundreds of miles of mountain twisties, sweeping curves, towering pines, breathtaking views, and an unforgettable day with fellow riders.

• Approximately 340–360 miles round trip
• Estimated saddle time: 8–9 hours
• Total event duration: 10–11 hours
• Intermediate skill level recommended due to the distance and mountain roads.
Rider Expectations
✔ Ride your own ride.
✔ Arrive with a full tank of gas.
✔ Please be at the meeting point 15–20 minutes early.
✔ Wear proper protective riding gear.
✔ Maintain safe following distances.
✔ Respect all riders, regardless of experience.
✔ This is a no-drop ride whenever safely possible.

• Talk about upcoming SMR rides and events.
Whether you’re returning to Sacramento, the Bay Area, the Foothills, or somewhere in between, we’ll do our best to help riders pair up for the trip home.
