Youth in grades 4–12 are invited to join us and explore all things horses—no horse ownership or previous experience required!
Members will:
Learn about horse care, health, anatomy, breeds, colors, markings, nutrition, equipment, behavior, and safety
Participate in interactive lessons, games, demonstrations, and guest-speaker sessions
Prepare for 4-H Horse Bowl, Hippology, Horse Judging, and Public Speaking competitions
Build teamwork, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Meet other young people who share their love of horses
Meetings are held at the Sevier County Extension Office, located at 752 Old Knoxville Highway in Sevierville. The club meets twice monthly during the fall and will begin meeting more frequently as competitions approach.
The club welcomes everyone—from experienced riders and horse owners to youth who simply want to learn more about horses. Members do not need to bring a horse to participate.
For meeting dates, registration information, or questions, contact Ms. Danielle at [email protected].
