On Friday 17th April we are pleased welcome back Bilston's own psychedelic blues rock band, Smokin' Eskimo, to the JJJ stage.Combining a blend of blues & rock styles, Smokin' Eskimo cater for a wide range of listeners and whilst they cite Jim Hendrix, Oasis, Led Zeppelin and Fleetwood Mac (Peter Green era) as artists who influence them, their musical style adds an Indie/Britpop slant to their songs with lyrical content reflecting many aspects of modern life; from deep thoughts about the universe to taking a drive through the Countryside. These are complimented well by a solid backline and memorable, exciting riffs to get you on your feet and dancing!
Support is provided by 72 Houses who are a promising new band, playing mainly original compositions but also new renditions of a few classics.
