Smoketown Community Landtrust Block Party and Ribbon Cutting

On behalf of the Smoketown Community Land Trust, we are excited to invite you to join us for a special celebration on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Hancock Street between Lampton and Jacob Streets.
This event will mark the completion of seven brand-new affordable homes on Hancock Street and celebrate the residents, partners, and community members who helped make this milestone possible. The afternoon will feature a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Block Party, community resources, music, food, family activities, and neighborhood fellowship.
In addition, we are launching The Sole Train, our back-to-school shoe initiative designed to help local students start the school year with confidence. Through this effort, we will provide 75 pairs of shoes to students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Families will register in advance through Smoketown CLT, and shoes will be distributed during the Block Party.
