Smoked Out Soul (S.O.S.) blends a Bay Area–style sound, mixing live-band energy with a DJ feel.Originally a mixtape project by Zebuel, combining ’70s Motown, Stax, and modern beats, it has evolved into a live act with musicians, producers, and DJs performing together. Their shows mix classic soul and funk with modern elements, live horns, guitars, drums, synthesizers, and high-energy DJ sets. The sound is both familiar and innovative, rooted in tradition but fresh. Having performed at festivals such as Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, and Lightning in a Bottle, Smoked Out Soul delivers an energetic, genre-blending performance that will turn the plaza into a vibrant summer-night atmosphere.

Jazz on the Plazz concerts are free and open to the public, with designated general admission areas throughout the Los Gatos Town Plaza. Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs and picnic items.
