About this Event
Halloween has always been a season of transformation.
We step into costumes, characters, and imagined identities. Sometimes what we call imagination is actually revelation — a glimpse of a part of ourselves waiting to be expressed.
As this October New Moon invites us into possibility and reinvention, we'll gather at the threshold between who we are and who we are becoming as we arrange moody flowers.
This workshop explores the interplay between beauty and mystery, nature and symbolism, artistry and self-expression.
Costumes, black attire, and creative self-expression are warmly encouraged.
THIS FLORAL ART EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
☾ SACRED PAUSE FOR REFLECTION:
Before we arrange we’ll take a sacred pause to reflect on our own identity, who we are showing up as and who we want to become.
Throughout the evening, you'll be invited to consider:
Who am I becoming?
What needs to change in order for me to become my next version?
Not as a goal to achieve, but as a quiet reflection woven into the creative process.
Like flowers, transformation often unfolds gradually — revealing itself through curiosity, courage, and imagination.
☾ ARTIST PORTRAIT:
After completing your arrangement, you’ll have your artist portrait and centerpiece captured in a Midnight Alchemy styled tablescape with soft natural light, black table accents, and the glow of candlelight
☾ BEGINNER FRIENDLY GENTLE INSTRUCTION:
Whether you are a flower lover or flower professional, Heather’s floral art experiences are meaningful and enjoyable for all.
☾ VASE + MATERIALS:
Your registration fee includes all materials needed for class, including flowers, vases, tape, shears, etc.
☾ REFRESHMENTS:
Organic tea and light snacks provided.
By registering to this Art Class you agree to the Waiver of Liability below.
ART CLASS WAIVER OF LIABILITY
By enrolling in this Art Class you agree with the following terms, releasing Heather Palenscar, DBA “Midnight Alchemy Floral” from liability.
Waiver: In consideration of being permitted to participate in any way in the Midnight Alchemy Floral Art Class I, for myself, my heirs, personal representatives or assigns, do hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Heather Palenscar, DBA “Midnight Alchemy Floral”, employees, volunteers and agents from liability from any and all claims resulting in personal injury, accidents or illnesses (including death), and property loss arising from, but not limited to, risks associated with the use of alcohol; risks associated with the use of alcohol in conjunction with tools or other equipment and participation in the Midnight Alchemy Floral Art Class.
Indemnification and Hold Harmless: I also agree to INDEMNIFY AND HOLD Heather Palenscar, DBA “Midnight Alchemy Floral”, employees, volunteers and agents HARMLESS from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages and liabilities, including attorney’s fees brought as a result of my involvement in the Midnight Alchemy Floral Art Class and to reimburse them for any such expenses incurred.
Severability: The undersigned further expressly agrees that the foregoing waiver and assumption of risks agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the law of the State of California that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.
Photo Release: I authorize Heather Palenscar, DBA “Midnight Alchemy Floral” to use my photo in any manner for advertising, display, audio-visual, exhibition or editorial use.
Acknowledgment of Understanding: I have read this waiver of liability, fully understand its terms, and understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including my right to sue. I acknowledge that by registering for this Art Class I am agreeing freely and voluntarily, to a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
